Returns + Exchanges

At the Cowhide and Leather Factory, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products and hope you love your purchase as much as we loved making it. However, if you don’t love it, or if for any reason there is a problem with it, we will happily repair, replace or refund your purchase for you.  We accept returns due to change of mind within 7 days of the date of delivery of an item.

When choosing your product, please keep in mind, our natural materials have been selected for their special and individual textures, as each hide is unique there will be variation in colour and pattern, along with the length of hair.

Please allow a period of ten working days to process your exchange. Email confirmation will be issued once the exchange process is complete.


We provide a six-month manufacturing warranty on all Cowhide & Leather products. 

To prolong the life of your cowhide or leather product, please treat your item very delicately by avoiding: – Excessive rubbing- Rough surfaces- Areas containing high moisture – direct sunlight. In cowhide products- hair fall is natural and may occur.

Cowhide Hair fall is not covered under warranty.


Refunds are only issued if the piece is faulty due to a manufacturing default. We do not provide refunds for incorrect selection or a change of mind.

Sale Items

Please be aware that SALE items are NOT eligible for refunds and exchanges unless required by law.

Return Postage

Unless you are returning your product due to a manufacturing default you are responsible for covering the cost of return postage. When returning items for an exchange please include a reply paid self-address satchel addressed to: Po Box 0000 Melbourne 3000
